Registration, fees, fixtures

Hi volleyballers!


Firstly a big thank you to team captains of B grade and Social for being so organised in getting your team registrations completed without a registration night (and with not much notice)!


Player Registration

Now that we most of our teams registered, we need to get players registered to those teams in order for them to play. That can be done with the link below. The system can email you your username and password combo from last season to save you entering all of your information again. I used this method and it was pretty fast.


Volleyball Victoria (VVI) Membership

As you may know, VVI Memberships now run on calendar years. As such, everyone (including A grade players who are mid season) will need to complete this online form again and pay their 2018 membership fee.

SVI strongly advises that all players are VVI members as this covers you for insurance.

Please click the link below to complete the form, and choose the $30 Social option for the fee (if you are only playing in our local games).


Team Fees

Teams are responsible for paying the team fee by the due date. Every season we have recurring members who seem surprised that there will be fees and require extensions.

Please be organised with your share of the team fees because it puts the team captains in a very awkward and embarrassing position.


Fixtures (draws) and results

We will be publishing the fixtures to the SportsTG website only this season. We recommend using the links below or the links on the SVI website to view the fixture online rather than writing it down or printing it out - the reason being that when you view the fixture online, it has the most current version inclusive of any recent changes. If the fixture changes from the original version, we will notify members via email and on our Facebook page.

Feedback when we also had an additional draw in circulation (for printing) was that they would often have conflicting information. From an SVI perspective, it also makes it very difficult to know whether people have the correct draw if we need to make changes.

Where you team is rostered for a Bye, this means you are rostered to do Duty for that game (requiring 3-5 members present depending on division). Please contact us if you need help with the expectations for Duty teams - otherwise, we assume you understand what needs to be done and may penalise teams for not upholding their responsibilities.

*Please note we are experiencing some difficulties with the SVI phone but hope to have this fixed before next week's games. We will advise when this is fixed.
